Ronchamp by Le Corbusier

“Ronchamp’s ceremonial door has an imprint of a cockleshell, that symbol of pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. I was on a kind of pilgrimage too, which started at Vitra where Tadao Ando’s conference pavilion has a few scattered leaves similarly imprinted in the concrete,” says Elizabeth Hopkirk.
